I always get excited about the holidays but this year I seem to be extra pumped. Maybe it is because 2020 has been a pretty tough year, or maybe I am just feeling extra spirited, but I can not wait for the holiday party season to begin! Yes, it may look a little different than years past, but I am determined to make it the best party season yet. The first step? Some awesome holiday goodie recipes.
If you struggle to figure out what to bring to pot-luck style holiday parties, you will need to look no further than this blog! I have the perfect recipes to please any crowd – from family to coworkers and beyond.
Those of you who know me know that I should probably be kept out of the kitchen at all costs. However, I found these super easy, super delicious holiday recipes on Delish that I just had to share with you. Do not worry – if I can follow the directions to make them and not burn down the house, so can you! Grab your stretchy pants and let’s get to it.
Turn These Into Your Favorites As Well
Red Velvet Cake Batter Dip
The first recipe is a delectable and color-appropriate dip, Red Velvet Cake Batter Dip. Insert a million “drool” emojis cause that is legit what I am doing at the moment. You can not continue your holiday traditions without it. My two favorite things about this recipe are that there are only 5 ingredients and that it takes less than 10 minutes to make. I have heard rumors that you can make this without the cream cheese for those of you with a dairy intolerance. However, I have not tried it so I can not guarantee it will be as good.
The second recipe is now a staple in my household for the holiday season. You can not go wrong with a little boozy drink for the holidays and this is my go-to: Christmosas. The only thing that I do not like about this recipe is that the recommended time to create is 20 minutes. Um, unless you are going to the store to buy the ingredients, if it takes you longer than 7 minutes to put everything together you are doing it wrong! My goal is to be drinking my Christmosa and chomping down on some Red Velvet Cake Batter Dip within that 20 minute timeline. And you can, too – I believe in you!
While I know the holiday season – especially this year – can be a sore spot for some of you, if you bring these two dishes to your next holiday party I am sure you will have an incredible time. But be careful… you may be asked to bring them to every holiday party in the future!
If you do make these for your holiday parties this year (or maybe you make them on a whim just because) I would love to hear your thoughts! Post them below along with pictures!
